Liquid Propane Gas Tank Tiedown Service

We install Liquid Propane Gas (LPG) Tank anchoring and stabilization systems for home and business propane tanks in Clallam County, Washington. We use painted steel ground anchors with auger heads and steel straps to brace the tanks in place.

INSPECT - Before the anchor installation, the location of underground electrical cables, metal water lines, and metal sewer pipes must be determined. We provide locator services for an additional fee when needed. This service is for metal pipes only. We can locate buried electrical lines, in addition to sewer, gas and other metal pipes or wires. *additional fee applies.

ANCHOR - Anchors are driven into the ground  with a drive machine. Protective sheaths cover the steel straps for tank paint protection. The anchors and steel straps will last as long as the tank does. If the tank is on a cement slab, an alternative method will be used.

PROTECT - After the work is complete, you will have the peace of mind you deserve. Being prepared eliminates unnecessary fear, damage and liability.

Why Brace Your Propane Tank?

The threat of quake, tsunami and flood is real!

Stabilizing Propane Tanks is recommended by The Department of Homeland Security FEMA 481.

Earthquake, Flood and Tsunami management programs in Washington will soon require ALL tanks be secured. Gas leaks are frequently the cause of earthquake related fires. A single pound of propane is equivalent to one stick of dynamite. If a tank rolls over and explodes it could be devastating.
